I want Nathan Drake because he's an awesome character, but I think the game will still be great if he's not in it. Naughty Dog is an amazing dev, and I'll back almost anything they'll do.

Personally, I think that Nathan Drake has run his course. His story has been told. The Uncharted franchise should head into the new console generation with a new character. Perhaps the franchise could jump ahead 25 years with Drake and Elena's son or daughter being the new protagonist?

Well that's if they COMPLETELY change characters. Like create someone totally different. I'm thinking a new Drake would very similar to the current Drake. 


If people wasn't too busy criticising Raiden's look, you'd realize he's almost the same as rookie Snake from Shadow Moses. Minus the Rose Codec convos.

Uhh what? He wasn't anything like the gruff, bad-ass Solid Snake. He was more of a whiny teenager.

I'd rather the franchise just end than him not be in it. They'd make Drake's son be similar to his father but he wouldn't be the same which would let it down. If Drake was in it too it'd only make it more annoying like with MGS2 when you had to play as Raiden but Snake was right there!

Someone said they'd make the character completely different and they've done that with Infamous but the thing that makes Uncharted stand out is the humour and likable characters and if they had someone new who was different to Drake and very serious it wouldn't be the same at all.

I voted "Yes, keep him as the main character.", because I feel like Uncharted without Nathan Drake would be like Indiana Jones without Harrison Ford(Indiana Jones).

But I also think that a new character in Uncharted made right would work out, so I'm more or less leaving the door open here.

They could've gotten Noel and Ellie as an adventure duo but their story isn't finished yet so they can't go on a treasure hunt :(
