My local gamestop (ebgames) in Quebec still have no ps4, plenty of xbox one, he also told me that 1/3 of its xbox one sales were from people looking for ps4 but still could not get one. They wanted to switch to next gen quickly so they had to get an xbox.

I've got both here....best of both worlds.

Largely sold out, not sold out in every store known to man , you are trying to hard. Stock checkers show they are right.

Gamers who play diferent type of games(RPG,Third person,Sandbox,Shooter,Sports,etc...) and,consequently, buy a lot of games.

Dudebros usually play a limited(shooters) number(shooters) of games(shooters).

Casuals usually play a limited(just dance) number of games(just dance).

All of Hampton Roads VA is exactly how they say here. I check all the gamestop's in my area constantly so I have something to tell the customers. Virtually none in my area. We still have some of the same XBO's from Christmas time. Gamestop's Layaway plan is working to widdle our XBO stock tho. We had gotten a huge batch of PS4s in last week..........gone in 2 days. None coming this weak either which sucks :/

Also, Sony needs to send out more PS4 Cameras, they are surprisingly popular. Many are saying the Playroom demo has caught their attention. Haven't seen any more since second round of shipments.

Exactly.  This isn't like when MS stated they were mostly sold out, yet there were hundreds still on shelves in EU and stock trackers showed it available in several stores in the US.  Sony says mostly sold out and they mean it.

If MS said this everyone would immediately claim "they are are lying".

I invite you to Poland. Zero problems to buy PS4 in any bigger electronic store. No XBO until september (they are not sold out, official premier is 2014.09)
