Why would they make a price cut and release Titanfall at the same time. I thought Titanfall was going to be enough?

Like I thought, seriously why do people just make up things like that and expect others to not call them out on it? |
Because they sometimes get away with it.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
Normchacho said: Nope, not a chance. It cost MS $471 to make the Xbox One. A $100 price drop would put them in a huge hole and would certainly piss off anyone who bought an Xbox One before the price drop. It would be really difficult to justify a price drop this early especially when they no idea what it would do to market share. Dropping the price would only cause more financial damage to a division that the investors already want sold. |
Yes this.

My first thoughts as well.
Too soon. The last thing anyone involved with XBox wants right now is for it to start bleeding money. It's going to come, but not until fall and possibly with some element of repackaging, perhaps without Kinect.
The best move for them would be to sell an unbundle version of the Xbox one, but then it would make the bundle version look pretty useless so many drop that to $450.

Ain't that the truth. Kinect is the One's biggest problem by far, it's almost the only problem at that.
me me me!
$250 will be awesome
”The environment where PlayStation wins is best for this industry” (Jack Tretton, 2009)
I do not like the X1 because it is inferior to PS4, but I think together with a price cut and the Rare Kinect Sports game, they could win the mass market and the console war this generation.
