I hope it's via spotpass, we don't have Gamestops in Brazil, and even if we get the event I'm not very confident it will be available in my city.

I brought up Animal Crossing because it's another game where they could just send you everything over the internet, but don't. This is completely understandable though, since it's a good way to encourage streetpassing n such. Also, iirc, Pokemon always had you going to stores to get stuff, and now that there's even more incentive for this, I doubt they'll change it, but we'll see!


Gamestop was the only place you had to go and if i recall it was just once per generation for Legendary Dogs (shiny) 2010 and Time+Space Trio (shiny) 2013

What do you mean, going by Animal Crossing? I get stuff in Animal Crossing from Spotpass! They send an exclusive item every month via Spotpass, and I get people showing off their model homes in H.H.A. plaza every now and then. I imagine they'll do this the same way they did Torchic.

Its 3 legendary pokemon hidden by fans that will be for events (download) later i that respective generation. They usually starr in movies, in this case the first gen 6 movie will have this rock/fairy pokemon

You said they started in Gen 3, technically events started in Gen 1... they were just very limited and a pain in the ass. Also Mew was exclusive to this and starred in a movie just like you were saying.

i see now, wat i meant was Hidden event pokemon, everybody knew who mew (event in gen 1) and Celebi (event in gen 2) are while deoxys wasnt shown intill the movie! (not counting hacks)

I vaguely remember going to ToysRus to get Manaphy or something, but yeah. :L

Idk if they're still doing it, but they were giving out special items at Nintendo Zone's only, some at Best Buy only.
