Oh damn. Now we'll never know how a WiiU version of a multiplat can sell in comparison to the other versions with all things equal :(

Check out the sales data for Assassin's Creed 4. The answer is, not so good.

Hmm, pretty clever. They can release to a 5m install base before MK8, or they can release to a 8m install base after the release of MK 8.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

And there's your excuse for inevitable low sales, I don't care anyway. PC version.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

This doesn't make any sense. Considering Watch Dogs for Wii U will most likely be slightly inferior to the PS4/Xbox One version, Ubi Soft needs to release the PS3/Xbox360 version first, then the Wii U version, and then cash in a little extra on those hard core gamers who's willing to play the game as soon as possible, and then also willing to buy enhanced versions of the game for Wii U and later PS4/Xbox One.

I'd say something like this:

April: PS3/Xbox 360
May: Wii U (slightly enhanced graphics, and with Touch Screen features)
June: PS4/Xbox One (Much better graphics, AI and other features)

This would maximise sales on ALL plattforms.
This doesn't make any sense at all.

I think he's being sarcastic?

atleast it wont be as late as borderlands 2 on vita.

So... basically, they are using their resources to focus on the ps4/x1/ps3/360/pc version instead then? I can't blame them but if they are expecting lots of sales out of this, then they should prepare to be disappointed...

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I think it won't come out at all, they just don't want to say that at earnings call.

So why not delay ALL versions, like they did with Rayman Legends - for a simultaneous
huh? Ubisoft?!

I sense a few white lies coming from them lately.
