Eh?  You must mean the sky high share valuation which fell over 80% since it's peak.  Nintendo has 1/3 of Sony's equity.


If you take into account the amount of debt Sony has, what equity? The equity that has boosted them to junk? If they sold everything they have, they would probably cover their debt.... What equity? Nintendo may be "smaller" but they have billions in the bank, vs Sony owing billions TO the bank....

This is my favorite console warz logic of all. So there is this game that even outside of VGChartz is mega hyped, the most awaited game of the gen so far, has virtually nothing but top notch praise (not just "good praise", it gets amazing feedback everywhere). And yet, some people might only be hyped about it because it is skipping the PS4. Just fucking hilarious. As if anyone here gives a shit enough to hype up a game merely for SKU reasons.

It's ok man, the PS4 will have some good games too. Sometimes people let the console warz get into their heads.

Hey, it's J_Allard completely missing my point as usual! I was annoyed with the stupid amount of hype over a generic first person shooter. There's nothing wrong with a hyping a game, there is something wrong with calling it GAME OF THE GENERATION for no reason at all. If it comes out and gets reviews on the level of The Last of Us and completely revolutionizes first person shooters (it won't) THEN feel free to call it GOTG or whatever. It's a first person shooter that looks like 90% of other first person shooters. I don't see Nintendo fans hyping 3D World as GOTG even though it's the best reviewed title of the gen. And do you really feel the need to bring the media into this? They hype up everything that EA shits out. EA knows how to market their games. 

Bolded: No that award would either go to Destiny or The Witcher 3.

I don't really care how many Sony fans dominate the internet. I live in constant Nintendo bliss and am completely satisfied by them in terms of video game pleasure. Let them say or do whatever they want, they can't strip me of my enjoyment of Nintendo! NOTHING CAN!!! BAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! I'M MAD I TELL YOU MAAAAAAAADDDDD FOR NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah I have seen this, heck on most other sites now people are afraid to say they are nintendo fans, really sad bunch gamers are. Thinking of gettign a wii-u, any news on when Zelda is coming?

No word yet on a  release window yet, but they say it weill be unveiled at this year's E3.

I was responding to the part of your post that I bolded, about how people are only hyped about the game because it isn't on PS4. That is laughable at best, as if all these people heaping praise on the game, playing the alpha and loving it, awaiting the beta, and waiting on March 11th for the most anticipated game of the generation thus far, are doing all this just because Sony didn't impress Respawn in their meeting. That's all, hope that helps.

Regarding the bold, ahahahaahahaha.

I hope you don't seriously believe that, the game is exclusive because MS payed EA truckloads of cash to keep it that way. Vince Zampella didn't even know EA negotiated lifetime exclusivity until after the fact. Vince Zampella is the co-founder of Respawn by the way, I hope that makes things clear for you. The rest of your post isn't even worth discussing because you once again miss the point of what I was saying. I don't think I could be anymore clear, you just see what you want to see.

And laughing off Destiny or Witcher 3 just proves my point further. Here are the top ten most anticipated games of 2014 by one of the largest gaming communites on the internet. Hell, it might even be the largest.

From that selection I chose Nintendo/Playstation, but I would consider myself more Nintendo>PC>Playstation. But I have noticed this site has mostly vocal Playstation supporters, then Nintendo, and it's rare to see a strong XBox supporter.

You can quit claiming I simply didn't get your point or am "seeing what I want to see". Your post is clear as day and reads like someone who is just bitter that Titanfall is getting the hype it is getting. I went ahead and requoted it and bolded the relevant part, maybe that will help you out. And I know who started Respawn and how everything went down with EA, thanks. Just listing a reason why the game isn't on PS4, nothing more.

Thanks for providing me with a new all time best VGChartz moment, actually trying to tell me what I should or should not be excited for, or how good a game will or will not be based on what fucking NeoGAF thinks. Feel free to type up another reply and feel free to continue living with your head in the sand where Titanfall is only getting the hype from some of us because it isn't on PS4, I am done responding on this matter :)
