It's a great game, but I still think Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga beats it and other Mario RPGs

lol! Its my favorite cuz Mario had interaction, (a story for the first time), some of the best characters, and it was my first RPG ever.

One of my all time favorite games. I still pop it in my SNES for a full play through every few years.

You Never Play It!!! Dear God!!! As a dedicated Nintendo fan you hve to play it! It was one of the definitive RPGs of the 90's!

I loved it. It is a real shame there was never a true sequel.

It was basically 69 when 69 wasn't invented if you get what I mean... it was a blend of two companies realizing the potential of what each other had and how to make a tremendous experience for everyone... I hope square makes another one, one day but till that day comes, it is probably unmatched in the mario rpg series although 1000 year door comes quite close

You have to play it, Spurge. It's such a charming and fun RPG.

My opinion on Super Mario RPG? Best Mario RPG. One of the best RPG's ever. NEEDS a sequel. It's sad Nintendo and Square Enix aren't on good enough terms to make that happen. Also, I want Geno in SSB4.
