Forums - Sony Discussion - PS4 PS+ Games opinions?

I think it's great! With Vita they postponed PS+ a year so that they had a backlog to give, but I'm really liking getting games upon release.

Contrast was the only game I haven't cared for.

i wonder how many people arent buying knack just because they assume itll come early in PS+ lol

Well... it seems like the most probable PS+ candidate for a "full" PS4 game.

I have great fun with Resogun... Defender was (IMHO) the best Atari2600-game. I also really liked Contrast... couldn't stop until I finished it, great style! Don't Starve is nice but I die a lot ;)

Outlast is not my cup of tea. I had hoped for an experience like "Siren: Blood Curse" on the PS3, but Outlast is soulless and sterile... and it looks like a PS2-HD-game most of the time (many textures, level structure).

To quote a review, I very much agree to: "Unfortunately its underwhelming visuals, combined with Red Barrel Games’ over-reliance on jump-scares ahead of more psychological frights, made my experience with it feel similar to walking through a haunted house: It’s scary, but not in a very clever way."

Isn't Contrast the game with the lowest Metascore (59) on PS+ ever? If they eventually add Knack, they will completely abandon their "seal of quality" for PS+ games on PS4.

well, considering the games available it has been fine I suppose. Still, I haven't enjoyed any of them yet, but I still haven't tried outlast. Downloaded it yesterday but haven't given it a shot yet. Once Sony builds up a library then ps+ on the ps4 might be pretty good. As of right now, my ps+ is more for my ps3 than my ps4...

Given the system is so young I honestly did not expect much. I have played quite a bit of Resogun and beat Contrast and have been playing Don't Starve. So as of now give it a ringing endorsement from my experience.

Now you have to have PS+ for online play, I honestly don't see Sony continuing the free AAA games like PS3/Vita, they will stick to smaller and indie titles only.

Rather play Tomb Raider than Knack.

So far I think the PS+ offerings for PS4 have been great considering how new the console is.

I haven't been really into the games they have offered so far apart from Resogun, but that being said I still think they are great games in there own right, but they are just not really the type of games I enjoy.
