I think it's kinda sad that it's just accepted around here that this function doesn't work and apparently hasn't worked for years. :/

It must've been way before I started coming here, because it's NEVER worked for me.

It was before the current revisions...I can't remember which one but I swear it worked at one point...As someone else suggested though, when I want to find something, I generally just google it. I think the search button was powered by Google too to be honest.

Yeh it worked before, when it was first introduced it worked like a dream, then the site got an update and everything went to hell. Why have a broken feature on your website it makes it look like the sites been abandoned.

ioi needs to leave this site and just go focus on Gamewise, that's clearly all he cares about and hire a competent person that actually cares about VG Chartz and fix the little problems with VG Chartz.

True. There was a thread called "The best Wii U commercial ever" or something like that a few days ago. I was working and couldn't see it. Turns out, I'd never see it because I can't search for it.
