Titanfall preorders? 215,402 (XBOX ONE alone) out in one month.

Destiny preorders? 189,793 (XBOX ONE alone) out in 7 months.

Bungie would like to tell where you can go with your zero threads ever...

Interesting fact, you have no idea what he was talking about.

He was implying people on this forum are overhyping Titfanfall with tons of threads. The reality is much of the Titanfall discussion is from bitter gamers not getting Titanfall on their favorite game console.

Naturally, this has lead to a lot of mature discussion.

Naturally just as your initial staement was no where near factual and pure hyperbole, which is why I posted my reply in the first place (a quick forum search will yield several Destiny related posts), this reply is also inaccurate because I read the entire thread preceeding your post and I know exactly what he was posting. I was in no way defending or even attempting to strengthen his argument. I was simply pointing out that your rhetoric was strecthing the bounds of common sense and poking a bit of fun at your posting with a little Destiny related humor.

Its COD with Mechs and parkour/jetpack mercenaries......

I don't see the problem here. It looks awesome.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

But my original comment was to the guy who said "the pedigree of the developer in making FPS". So your reply about people buying TF in spite of being made by the CoD team is moot. Plus, the comment was essentially to keep things realistic. "Pedigree of the developer in making X" shouldn't be a talking point because there's examples of those same people "of pedigree" putting up stinkers. Hell, Square Enix has the same people but FF has gone downhill since FFX. How is that "pissing on people's parades"?

But I responded to this quote by you, "They made CoD. TF will automatically be good." So the quote you're mentioning now is moot.

People atleast waited to play FF games before bashing them. And once the series became multiplat, that invited a new level of bashing from Sony fans. That's a fact.

There is more TF bashing from Sony fans than Tifanfall hype by Xbox fans. There is clearly some bitterness on the interweb.

Yeah it is Call Of Duty with mechs and jump packs

But that's why people are excited. New Call Of Duty that is a tad different then the other Call Of Duty's.

People love Call Of Duty. Sales show that.

It sells better then other shooters because it requires less skill and thought then Battlefield, Rainbow Six, CS ect.

but....."They made CoD. TF will automatically be good" is just a paraphrasing of "I'm hyped for TF based on the pedigree of the developer in making FPSs". It's the same thing.

I don't get where you were going with that. And the bashing for FFXIII wasn't from Sony fans. It was from reviewers. Because the game wasn't up to par. It's story was boring. The battle system was dumb. The game was linear. These weren't forum goers instigating that. It was reviewers.

Y'know, I kinda get why people simplify the concept of the game by referring to it as "Call Of Duty with Mechs", but making those mechs a central part of gameplay and incorporating robust free-running aspects and double jumping makes it Call of Duty with mechs in the same way Halo is Doom with online multiplayer, jumping, offhand grenade throws, and better graphics. These additions seem small, but they actually make it a completely different game. The smallest of gameplay tweaks alone can make a game indistinguishable from one to the next (Ask any long-time Halo fan about the differences between Halo and Halo 4 and they'll tell you they're essentially completely different games).

This is why it's so great..lol
