a price drop of 100 or more and im in. I may buy a used one if i can find one for cheap

For me it is going to take Halo and hopefully the price is cheaper then too. Regardless I will have one when Halo cones out and I doubt I am alone in that reasoning.

I think this besides the price drop is the main reason people are waiting. Halo is going to do well for XBox One this 2014 Holiday Season. Almost like relaunching the console. Going to be dope.

A price drop is not the biggest issue for me, but at this moment there are 3 games out that I'm interessted in: Dead Rising 3, Ryse and Killer Instinct. That's not enough to justify the purchase for me. When Titanfall and Quantum Break are released, along with some interesting multiplatform games like Metal Gear Solid 5, Watch Dogs and Destiny then I might reconsider. Don't care much for Halo anymore, haven't really looked into Sunset Overdrive and Project Spark.

I suggest having a look at both those games, More info has come out about Project Spark and I think they are onto something special.
