Forums - Microsoft Discussion - How many 360 fans do you think are waiting to make the jump and what will it take?

I'm waiting for a price drop, and for a bigger library of exclusive games. I have no problem with Kinect -- in fact I hope Microsoft's studios really try to take advantage of it.

I can only speak from personal experience, but at least none of my friends who used to play Xbox 360 are getting an X1. They all switched to PC and PS4.

TBH, I don't see why someone would get an Xbox One over a PS4 unless it's $300...

I've got a large group of gamer friends with 360's and none of them are interested in the Xbone in the slightest. I know they'll eventually get a next gen console, but it might end up being a PS4 in a lot of cases. Right now they're fine with the consoles they have, though of course when they stop being supported they'll eventually make the change. Each one of them however thinks Microsoft and Xbox are a load of garbage at the moment, so I'll have to wait and see if they end up putting their money where their mouths are.

Currently playing:

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

Price drop, Forza Horizon 2, Forza 6 fully loaded edition, PGR 5, Rallisport challenge 3.
Exclusive racing games are what win me over. Forza 5 however is not enough.

man, we have 7 or 8 year.

Forza 5 does pack to much in it but the gameplay is the best I have played. The controls and rumble packs make this game amazing. I didn't much care for the 360 versions but the rumble triggers have sold me over. I play this just as much as my other games and that was never the case with the old forza's.

I don't know how many are waiting but for me personally I'm waiting on a significant price cut and good games.

I don't own a 360 (to my regret), but Cave could make me buy the One if they go MS again this gen. That and I won't buy it for more than 300$ (I'm a patient man)

I think we will see it drop this year, personally but only to $399. To match PS4. Sony will not drop for a while, they need to make up last gens losses.

I'm waiting till Microsoft stops releasing the same tired franchises and gets its shit together

So you're waiting for all the 2014 new IPs?

More like 2015 Ip's

some good ones like sunset overdrive and that remedy game but I want to see Microsoft diverse it's exclusives more like sony

until than ps4 it is

The PS4 lineup is diverse?

The Order and driveclub, both made by average developers, are the only new IPs that come to my mind.
Other than that you will get the fifth Uncharted in 7 years and the third InFamous in 5 years... well plus indie and free to play games.

On the other hand you have Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Titanfall, all made by outstanding devs... plus some smaller titles like D4 or Garden Warfare.

But yeah, the $499 price tag is the biggest objection right now.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
