@ bdbdbd: good point, most parant I know who buy video games for their children like to buy them something child friendly yet not to costly so nintendo offers the best match, getting older these kids want something more mature, cool, or "hip" and see the violent and good looking Sony and Microsoft offers. Still if they grew up with nintendo they are likley to return to it sooner or later, the question is how many grow out of gaming, or stick to their latest console developer or return to nintendo, personly I don´t think nintendo is doing bad with teens, at least the casual gamers, the hardcores are likely to get one even if they have a playstation or xbox. eather way I think nintendo has the most recouces to tap age-wise. plus I don´t think most teens can just pick what console they want until the earn their own money, my parents never bought me any entertainment device over 200 euros even if it was for me and my brother. I think this is hurting the PS3 a lot since most kids and teens can´t get their parents to pay 600 euros or dollars even for a birthday or x-mas preasent.
