When Elop joined Nokia, they already missed the smartphone-hype.
Their symbian was dead and on its way out. There was nothing he could have done.

After he joined, he made Nokia re-focus, created the Lumia and finally found their place in the smartphone market.

Under his leadership Nokia changed from a former tech-giant close to bankruptcy to a smaller but healthy company. He saved their asses.

Pretty sure he didn't create the lumia himself. It is a good company with a good tech/research team, but they missed the first wave of smartphones. Shit happens in every company. I'm not sure the CEO change really has something to do with them being back.

The original OP. Its still there, if you actually read said OP.

I missed it. OP is a mess. To be honest not knowing they are one division isn't a big deal. What are we arguing?

Lol, sure. He just made it tank harder.

I would say that Xbox division should be really afraid with him around, but given that he was sent to Nokia by MS to destroy it so MS can buy it off cheaply, it just shows that he has no shame and won't stop at anything - which would be good for promoting Xbox.
