Edit 1:

The news is true.

http://www.gamesthirst.com/2014/02/04/microsofts-new-ceo-is-satya-nadella/

At the end of the article,

"Nokia CEO Stephen Elop will rejoin Microsoft shortly to lead an expanded devices team focused on Surface, Windows Phones, and Xbox. Microsoft recently Nokia’s mobile division."

Original:

After the news of new microsoft CEO Mr. Satya Nadella here is another news. Nokia boss Stephen Elop (who said he would sell off Xbox, etc.) might be the new head of Microsofts "Surface, Windows Phones and Xbox". He will be heading all three divisions.

lulz.

I really hope this is not true. This man ran a one proud Nokia into the ground.

elop is not ceo and can not make that decision

...interesting, wonder how this will affect MS´ ability to buy exclusives for their consoles.

Virtuame is a PS4 fan twitter aka an anti-xbox twitter. All you see is him retweeting what people have 'heard' and pass them off as facts. and absolutely random people. Just ignore / ban that twitter handle from being used here.

Never mind. I misunderstood. Sorry.

We'll see which are the mid-long term plans of Microsoft with the Xbox, and what will Elop do. After all, for Microsoft it makes sense to put Elop in charge of its phones division. Don't you agree?

Btw, shouldn't that "answer" tweet be the other way around? The butcher has arrived at the pig's?

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

he may be pro-lets-sell-the-xbox-division but he's not in charge of selling of whole divisions.
so thing he can do is increasing the 'market value' of his division. make it more profitable.
i don't know much about him but he was CEO of a device manufacturer, so he knows at least a good bunch about his new position.

he seems like a good choice.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse
