Not sure if this is a trend with early 7th gen games or not but it has been confirmed by rare that both are over 1 million sold.  VGC has Kameo at 0.32 and PDZ at 0.75.  Not to mention both are released as platunum  games. Im a little bit of a Rare fan so id like to see these more accurate :)

While we're at it we might as well fix other games as well.  If you have proof a game has sold more than VGC has tracked post it below and ill add it to the list.  Hopefull ioi sees it and fixes these numbers.  Its hard to take a site seriously when the numbers are off by this much at times, and im 100% positive these arent the only games that has been confirmed to be way off of the VGC estimates.

With that said just because they have shipped that many units of a game, it does not mean everyone is sold.

I would also like to point out that a game became platinum with 400k world wide sales on PS1. That has since changed and a platinum game has not restrction.



This is a free site. We would all love the data here to be perfect but it is not and never will be. It is a free site. People need to stop feeling entitled. If you want to complain, mention the megadrive hardware numbers.

If it comes across like i am blowing up inna you, I really aint. Someimes people should be more grateful and even at the worst not call out brett who has spent over 8 years of his life to try and help people (geeks like us) have an understanding on software and hardware sales.

Im not asking for VGC to save the world.  Im bringing up an issue and would like it to be fixed.  This site is about sales and im sure everybody would like it to be more accurate.  It may not be you blowing up but criticism make things better a lot of times.  I like VGC but it doesnt excuse when something becomes confirmed and being off by over 700k for each game.  A simple fix is all that is needed. 

Its not a bad thing to want this site to be better.

I was commenting more on your thread title. It sounds very demanding. Of course all of us would love perfect sales tracking for every game.  What you have to consider is this. Lets assume you are correct and these games are undertracked.

1. Where do you suppose he predicts where those sales come from?

2. This is really old data i assume? Not easy to find.

3. Maybe many of the copies went unsold. It would not be the first time. 

Damn. I had no idea Kameo actually got to 1 million. And I was sitting here bitching about how nobody played the game!
