There are simply not enough mods for them to catch everything and lets be honest, if they modded everything that deserved it this website would be a different place. I guess it depends how you interpret them. I reaaaaally dont see it as insulting. For the record, kow isnt always rude, he can be though. Id agree that someone who is always condescending towards others should be put into line, but we dont really have anyone here who always talks down to people.

I agree that there arent enough mods however. Ive been saying that for a good long while.

Anyway, on the subject of consitency. I thought Id put it to the test yesterday.

kow was banned for being rude and confrontational, basically. Condescending. Insulting. Baiting people into arguments? They all tie in together anyway. Give it a few hours and I see a thread pop up about Project Spark.

Look at some of the comments in this thread between JayWood2010 and pokoko. Ill post them here.

So, the hostility starts here when pokoko was initially pissed off about Windows 8 being needed and was being sarcastic about the whole thing. JayWood simply told him why Windows 8 was needed (which is obvious by the way) and we get to this point.

Nothing initially wrong with pokoko's reply, but JayWood2010's responce of "act mature instead of acting entitled" is just as bad as, if not worse than anything kowenicki said to get banned. Its certainly condescending, confrontational and rude. JayWood wasnt even warned after a report.

As you can see here, they both end up throwing "insults" at eachother. Calling eachother condescending, rude, puffed up, sarcastic.

Not only are they going back and forth at eachother with petty digs, theyre dragging the thread off topic.

Wrong, i told you to be mature because of this  "pissed off in the blink of an eye" makes you sound entitled.  Word it better.  I was not once upset until the sarcastic ass comments after my original comment about it being a business.  As for the one insulting who, might want to relook your posts there.   And we really wouldnt be having this problem if it wasnt for what i highlighted for you.

JayWood kinda tried to calm things down at this stage, it seems, though he follows it up with the sarcastic last line.

Dude i could care less if you get the game really xD  There is no reason to be mad.  If you want it get W8, XBO, or X360 for it.  If not then dont.  I want KZ SF but i dont have a ps4 yet.  im not going to be pissed about it though, ill just wait until i get a ps4 to play it.

pokoko calls JayWood2010 smug and continues to be aggressive with his posting style. Very rude. Very condescending.

The problem is, JayWood2010 and pokoko were going back and forward at eachother. They were being rude to eachother. They were off topic. They were "insulting" eachother. They were being condescending. They were being far worse than kowenicki was in the Elop thread, in which he got banned for 7 days.

Where is the consitency? These posts were reported for the exact reason of proving the inconsistency of the moderation and you guys just proved me right by not even handing out a warning or a post in the thread telling them to cut it out.

The mods will not ever be consistent as it is not entirely possible, especially with different mods getting different reports. Pokoko and jaywood always have bad blood and they definitely should have gotten warned. But neither of them cause much trouble when they comment without the other commenting. Kowen seems to get in trouble with anyone and probably has been banned for the same thing in the past, by the same moderator too. So that may be why it seems very inconsistent.
