Ubisoft probably realised that the game is set to underperform and decided to use the Assassin's Creed name to get some extra sales.

No chance of cancellation...way too much money went into this game. At worst it is being renamed or reskinned but most likely, this is nothing...hopefully :/

Well... if this turns out to be the case, then its safe to assume the game is delayed again and beeing rebranded.

It might be that quality control decided the game just wasnt good, and instead of sending it to die, they will be reusing the assets and/or redesigning it.

or maybe they pulled an Edward Snowden by coincidence revealling several NSA spy techniques being unaware of it.
Similar to Stanley Kubrick who was visited by the CIA(or FBI) when making dr strangelove or Phillip K. Dick when he wrote a book about a police state(or they just got in trouble with Watchdogs USA or so)

I think maybe they are just renaming it, they would not invest so much money onto somthing and then cancel it. Most definitely not

Game & Watch_Dogs + Cats, exclusively on Wii U and 3DS.

I don't think it gets cancelled, it would be absolutely disastrous for Ubi.
But what could be the reason for this?
