Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The Wii U "Five": *NEW EPISODE 9/17/15: Super Mario Maker Review!*

I briefly watched the first three of your episodes and noticed the volume is pretty low compared to the average YouTube video. In the future, if you could isolate your audio in the video, put it into an audio software that increases the volume, and then add that to your video as a MP3/sound file that would be pretty nice.

This has been addressed several times in feedback I've received, and I already ordered a lavalier mic for it :)

Of course, I admittedly still have to work on some technical issues with the mic itself and the camcorder not working together very well, but just know that I hear all the feedback and slowly adjust to it as I can

Edit: Typo

I will say that I preferred episode 2 to episodes 1 and 3 as it was more well rounded and worked in humor to things I actually cared about. I this you should stick with a format similar to that (a few small pieces adding up to a 5 minute show) as opposed to what you did in episode 3 which was just one large piece.

Anyways, I have yet to subscribe but if you keep making content this good I may change my mind ^.^

Not to worry, variety is the spice of life, not all episodes will make everyone happy, but everyone should be happy with some of my episodes

He is in the end of the Hero´s journey and it shows in his voice, his humor and overall opinions.

I thank you for going up to bat for me, but I think you're making me out to be WAYYY better than I really am, lol...

Everyone need hype, and I just stated this:

Angry Joe: dumb.

Shokio: angry.

WiiU Five: Cool.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Still not 100% sure what to make of this show, but I still don't really see much compelling me to watch. Part of that, I think, is the scatter-gun approach these videos seem to be taking. The more interesting/successful series tend to either evolve more organically or proceed more consistently than this one is. It's inconsistent, and not in a particularly good way.

Part of it, though, is undeniably my own biases and preferences.

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

I like your videos as they are entertaining and I subscribed which does not hurt as it's just a click of a button

keep up the good work and don't let people put you down :)

Haha, well you just keep doing your thing. Also, getting a new mic is a great step and makes me pretty excited that you are taking this show seriously ^.^

Have you thought about putting up some posters or something behind you to occupy that white space? I know you said you don't really have the capabilities to do an intro yet but I feel as if you need something to spice up your presentation ^.^

Episode 4 is up, I review The Wonderful 101!

No worries, I understand.  Like I said to the guy earlier, give my channel a chance, you might not like ALL of my episodes, but SOME might click with you

Besides, I've already gave some thought to expanding to OTHER consoles IF this show takes off!  So, you may not like the Wii U, but what if I was talking about your favorite piece of hardware?

This has been mentioned, but people have to recognize I'm running this on an enclosed budget.  Currently, money is going in with nothing coming out, so continued investment isn't wise until I see some sort of traction that says "this has a future", THEN we can start talking about upping the production values evern further

Glad you like it!  I'll run it for awhile, but in the end, it's going to come down to viewers.  If there's enough interest and it's lucrative, I'll keep going, but if it hits critical mass and maintains being a succubus of time and money, it may be time to change directions...
