Eh.. Not a game that I am too fond of. The only reason this game even has that many sales is because it was released back the Wii was the hottest thing on the market.. That's it.. It's nowhere as fun as the original or Melee.. [IT'S THE FREAKING CAT'S MEOW!!] That's only my  opinion though..

fixed.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

SF2 does not count? Anyways, amazing legs for the game. I'm impatient for the new entry on Wii u. Hopefully does well and can help the console.

Street Fighter 2? And how many games do you count in that? I mean if you put all the Street Fighter IV's together that exist so far, it adds up to 7.61 mil by my count, making it second best. There are a million iterations of II as well. The original on SNES had 6.3 mil, with another 4.1 for Turbo, then Super for another 2 mil, which would place it slightly ahead, but really, can you count all those games? It'd be like counting Pokemon Platinum with Diamond/Pearl and saying it sold better than Gold/Silver. Or counting Pokemon Yellow with Red/Blue/Green and saying it sold better than Super Mario Bros., making it the best selling non bundled game of all time. Street Fighter 2 counts, but in terms of each version, the best selling version sold 6.3 mil, making it behind Tekken 3 and Melee (which actually has 7.07 mil). That said, tbone needs to fix the OP to include the original version, I think, and fix Melee's numbers.

In other news, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, when you combine PS3, 360, PC, and Wii, has very recently passed Duck Hunt as the best selling 1st person shooter of all time. Happened sometime over December. And no one cared.

My most played game during the 7th gen. Loved it. I also think massive delays hurt its performance in Europe. Probably could've hit 14m. Either way it dwarfs other fighting games sales, Amazing.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
