We'll see ;)

Yes, indeed we will. Bump me in 6 years if you wish. ;)

Hopefully it doesn't take that long to see if I'm right or wrong, but yeah I'll bump it.

I have a knack for remembering these things.

The biggest leap indeed. Going from $250 at launch to $350, while Sony goes the other way.

Isn't this common knowledge?

I wish, logic in this type of case doesn't apply, what people understands about this matter is really subjective.

Sony and Microsoft should take notes.. make a console with horribly outdated specs so you can brag about your leap a generation later.

Show me where Nintendo bragged about having the biggest leap.

Maybe not biggest leap, but their last console was incredibly hard to develop for, so they are now bragging about ease of development. They call it "time to triangle" or something like that.

That's Sony.

I didn't mean Nintendo themselves are bragging. To me, they are by a long shot the most mature out of the big three and I believe I reiterated this enough.

But those fans trying to use this as an argument for Nintendo make no sense to me.

Fans will always argue in favour of their chosen console, whichever flag they pledge allegiance to.

Yes, the Wii U is probably a bigger leap than the PS3 to PS4 and X360 to X1...

But, all that means is that the Wii was really far behind in a number of fronts... Technical specifications, online gaming, social integration with gaming, apps, and achievement/trophies. Hence, the fact that Wii sold really good at the start of the last generation, but has since faded, and over the long run may actually finish third in the 7th generation.

Nintendo still has a long way to go. I love my Wii U and its games, but for a complete gamer's experience the Wii U does not compare to Xbox and PlayStation. Nintendo, has to listen to gamers more and put more features in its operating system and online offering that equal or come close to Dashboard/XBL and XMB/PSN+.

The 7th gen is over. It's the 8th gen now.

Uhh no shit? Why is this even a thread? Going from SD to HD is of course the biggest leap.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

But the ps4 is 10 times more powerful than the ps3
