I can't really think of any games I'd want to play on Vita at the moment... but still.

You are not far from the truth actually. A $100 Vita in the U.S would cost ~$210 in my country...

Wow. Just wow, dude. What exactly is the point of this post? No one is forcing you to buy one. This is as flamebait as it gets.
On freaking topic: I would buy a second one in a heart beat for that price (I even considered buying one for £99). I seriously hope I can get an original model if anything happens to my currrent psvita, because after experiencing the OLED screen, it'd be very annoying to have to use an obviously inferior screen.
I went to Best Buy earlier today, but had no idea about this prior to going. I didn't see Vitas were on sale though, but they have PSN cards on discount.
