Vita's 2014 line up is looking massively better than 2013's line up so far.

Your post also proves you're a hypocrite as well.  When I made a comment about "fact" in the thread about Vita buttons being too small and the analog sticks being too close, it was because the average consumer has complained about it, even pointing out that many people in that very thread agreed, but  you made a statement that facts are absolute, but now you're replying to my comment that because I didn't state "I think," or "in my opinion," I am speaking for the general consensus, the majority of people, that the games look bad, which you are stating  that as my stating a fact.

Considering more than half of the titles mentioned are new IPs, then you shouldn't be surprise you never heard of them. Especially, if you never had interest in the Vita to begin with.

I could understand most of them not having been heard of, but to not have heard of Ys? That would really suggest not really following gaming in general that much. The series has been running since the SNES and the Vita release was one of the better critically received games last year, especially in the JRPG category.

Agree. And the situation won't change until Sony improves PSV really bad performance in USA. Portables need Japan as essential start, but outside of it their SW attach rate is so low that they need BOTH USA and Europe to do well, with just one of them non Japanes SW support remains mildly unsatisfying and games library takes ages to reach the critical mass.
Anyhow, I don't expect Sony to do much more than this bland PSV Lite launch, and probably an adjustment of the still excessive new price and maybe PS4 + PSV bundles, in the short term, they'll focus their limited resources on PS4 until they'll be sure its take-off happened safely.

Depends on what type of games you like. most of the games in your list seems to be niche Japanes titles (based upon the names, ain't gonna do the research). If that is what rocks your boat then it's gonna be a really good year, if not then... well lets just say there ain't much.

This is what i said, it always depends on what type of games you like,  exactly like  the other consoles this year, it's a good year only to those who like the games coming on these consoles, but it's only possible to say this when there is a good amount of good looking games coming,

( + a" niche" game is not worse than a regular game, the quality and the ambition is the same, the only difference doesnt matter for the gamer : sales)

I wish I was Japanese so that I could get excited over this. I've only heard of two games on that list and don't really care about either of them. Want to know what would get me excited for Vita? An exclusive Demon Souls 2 or Lost Guardians game. I just don't see Sony stepping up to the plate like that though which is sad since it's a great piece of hardware and deserves better from them.

Bought Vita only for Final Fantasy X HD and maybe Gravity Rush...

And all that MH clones, anime games, indie garbage .... meh.
