I think that video is great cause the guy is making a joke about the girl turning him down and then it actually happened and then the guy walks off with a huge beer in his hand, so funny.

We were together for almost 4 years and she left me for a guy that's 32 years old. My ex is 19 years old right now so I had no clue that something like that could happen. I'm still pretty shocked by this but life is life I guess.

The fiance and I stayed home and watched TV and ordered a heart shaped pizza from Papa John's (which didn't look much like a heart unless you use your imagination). We're sad.

Actually we celebrated our valentines day the weekend before by going to Illinois.

I don't like binding Valentines to the 14th, I would like it as the 2nd weekend of Feb. or something as with school and work on most weekdays it's harder to do things, but then again I celebrated on Sunday so personal celebration at a later I guess haha.

We played Double Dash on Wii and spend  the entire day in the bedroom afterwards.  Not great fans of the holiday, but it was a nice day. (Until the snacks run out.. .T hen we run out of strength.)

I was sick and home from school, vomitted three times, slept 18 hours, had hiccups and a sour throat. I didn't even know it was the date (not that it would have made any difference)

 Heck, I was sick too. I had a really bad case of the flu. Add to that the fact that I'm single... like adding insult to injury. or sickness.

Those of you that had been here for a while, might remember when my friend, mother of five, got murdered back in September. For the next few weeks I was helping the middle daughter (18 years old) to take care of the two younger children. I posted the murderers picture up here and got a lot of support from many of you.

Well, I've kept in touch with her since then and we celebrated a couple weeks ago when they caught the killer (the younger two children's father btw). I thought it would be nice to take her out for Valentine's Day.

We made it like a date, with chocolates and flowers, a fancy restaurant, and a walk around beautiful Lake Eola. It was great.
