A month is more than enough I think, but how would this work when a lot of people might only be dedicated to one console or another.

I'm in. Anything Sony, Nintendo, or Sega past generations except Wii.  Portables included.

I like kitler's idea where we alternate months to guarantee that each fan base gets a few chances every year.

Something along these lines:

a nintendo game kicks off in: january, april, july, october.

a sony game kicks off in: feburary, may, august, november.

a ms game kicks off in: march, june, september, december

although i think alternating by months is a good idea, the problem is 3-4 months is a long time. I think that spending 1-2 months on a game, and alternating then is a better idea.

1-2 months nintendo game
1-2 months sony game
1-2 months ms game
1-2 any other system
repeat

@veknoid
i couldnt understand what you said there.

Great idea! Paint me interested. Hit me up with the deets if you decide to go through with it.

I could even go with the monthly thing.

I'd say one solution to having folks unable to participate monthly decide on smaller titles each month and maybe larger more involved titles every two or three months. And set-up a list as far out as a year so that people can drop in and drop out of the discussions at anytime.

You could even set up a voting process to get as many of the members involved as much as possible. This would also help to keep track of how many people you can expect to participate through out a given period.

I think it will need some good coordination and a few dedicated people to keep it together and going but it's a great idea that I would totally dig being a part of.
