Horrible price, and including just a 1GB card is like forcing most users to buy a separated one anyway. Oh well, balance of the Universe is restored, Sony marketing just had to do something retarded.

Its not 1gb card, its in built memory. it allows users to save without needing to buy a mem card. Its obviously not for downloads

Yeah, I used the wrong term, but the result is negative anyway, because the problem to be solved wasn't just of space for saves, but also for downloads. Heck, even my 89€ smartphone included 512MB internal memory plus a 2GB micro SD...

Isn't that 20 pounds more expensive than the old one?

And 40 pounds more than one that's on sale with a 16gb memory card and 10 games.

I think they want to get rid of the "old" OLED model, that's the reason they were being underpriced these last few months, because it used to be over £200 if I remember well. I don't regret getiing my OLED one because this Slim version will be a downgrade, I'm only jealous about the many colors!

I don't understand. It must be 180€.

We already have 199€ Vita bundles with memory card and 10 games included!

RRP in the UK is not the same as the actual selling price at most outlets. This model isn't aimed at being cheaper, its aimed as a relaunch. Essentially they will be making more profit even if sales remain stagnent. I assume this is UK only because they're using the market as a test.

Its ridiculous that it doesn't come with more internal memory, no one is gonna be persuaded by 1GB. I know they still want people to buy the propriety memory cards but 8GB would easily be filled up with 1 or 2 months worth of PS+ content alone. Without the additional colours (black is the one available currently) there seems no point in adopting this Vita over the original.

Is the UK a test-market or something?

Sony are retards.

Can find a VIta with a £16GB Memory card and 10 digital games for £140-160.

Oh but £180 for just this new VIta with an inferior screen,,,

The RRP has very little to do with the prices that Vitas are being sold at. I imagine once the older consoles are sold out, these will become cheaper

WTF???

Did Sony's Meeting already happened? Why is UK the only placed to have a release date? Also why is this more expensive and its replacing the better model? Why not keep both so people can choose?

That's overpriced a bit unless it comes with those indie games. My vita cost me £150 and i've had it for 6 months

er...

all that build up for this? Its like they want it to fail.

You could go to game today and buy a current vita with a choice of 8 or 10 games and 16GB for $150. This should have been £120 tops

My question is was this from the big Sony Slim Press? If it was wat else was announced? Cuz this doesn't really add up to me
