You've never played an MMO have you? Sorry but you are not just paying to play online. That really would be silly.
I paid for EQ,WoW, Galaxies and many others. Why? Because the amount of content and free updates was worth it. These are not games that you beat in 8 hours and are done with. With EQ for example(things have changed now) it could take you a year to max level and there was so much content in the game it would take you a week just to walk around every zone to see what it had to offer. WoW had free content patches all the time and they were constantly working to improve every aspect of the game and release weekly updates. How many 8 hour games do that?
People like to bring up free to play mmos but those do not exist. Sorry but I have yet to see a F2P mmo that offered free players access to every aspect of the game. Even Rift which is free to play now(I have 1329 hours in game as of today) requires you to buy things in order to access the auction house or play certain souls for your class.

They invented these devices called PCs about 50 years ago. Judging by your post, you've never heard of them. Superior version will be on the PC and there is never a charge for playing online so the only thing someone would have to worry about is the 14.99.
I always find it amusing that when some Sony gamers want to say that the superior version is the one everyone will want, they always act like its going to be on PS4 and the PC doesnt exist.
But you realize PS Plus is mandatory for PS4 MP......so if you call yourself a (core) gamer you'd be paying or Plus anyway right?
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Didn't Bethesda say that price was only for monthly billing, if you bought let's say a 6 month sub, wouldn't it be cheaper?
Either way, I'm not interested in this game at all. I would rather wait for ES6
how the times have changed. when WoW launched i made a deal with the big brother of a friend of mine. i had to clean his car twice a month, and he payed my WoW sub.
nowadays people want to play a game that's designed around the item shop.
must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:
WiiU: Donkey Kong
XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse
$180 vs $240. Still too much either way. That said at least PS+ is optional.

MMORPGs in consoles suck.. is like giving WiiMusic to a guitar hero fan .. is just a pretty dumbed down experience
Do yourself a favor and just get one for the PC .. most will run even on cheap laptops. And this game in particular looks terrible to me .. or maybe is just because I'm used to playing this genre on the pc.
