I can't wait for this movie to come out, I nearly exploded when I saw the trailer at the movies. Anyone planning on seeing it?

I loved the trailer, and what a cast! Michael Keaton and Gary Oldman? Yes please! I am in love with this movie big time, can´t wait!

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I have my doubts with it being a PG 13

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

In my excitement I didn't even notice the rating but that doesn't bother me, PG-13 isn't the same as it was growing up. If anything I feel that today's PG-13 is yesterday's R.

i hate remakes

Really? Can you show a PG-13 released in recent years that is as violent as the original Robocop?  It is my big concern as well that be no squibs (blood capsules) and instead just be guys falling over and explosions.

I'll definitely see it. I remember when I was a kid and I saw the poster for the original and thought it read "Robocar". Loved movie when I saw it. I hope the new one holds up but even if it doesn't I'm gonna make the most of it like I did with that shitty Total Recall remake.

Looks mediocre and misses the point like most reboots I've seen as of late. Still going to watch it because I hate myself.

Also today's PG-13 is not yesterday's R. The original Robocop is rather graphic. How could you forget Murphy's iconic death? That'd still be considered R today.

That scene was pretty damn gruesome but I stand by my comment. Times have changed and PG-13 label isn't what it used to be.
