Left 4 Dead 2 is easily one of the best multiplayer experiences ever created. The crazy amount of special infected zombies ( fuck the Tank though. He is an asshole), the crazy melee weapons ( the chainsaw is cool!), the awesome characters ( Coach is mah nigga) and simply the amount of fun you can have killing zombies with your friends!

       Sales-wise Left 4 Dead 2 is a success hands down. It sold 3.7 million on the Xbox 360 alone. However, as we all should know by now, most of L4D2's sales  come from Steam since it is a very played game over there. No joking.  There are tons of people playing the game every minute!

       So,  do you want to see  Left 4 Dead 3 come out? The community for L4D2 is still strong and the sales are great so I don't see why it shouldn't come out.

I loved to it to come out just to see valve add a number 3 to a title.

The L4D series was such a fun time waster! I haven't played it in years but a 3rd title would bring me back to the series so put me in the "Yes" camp.

Yes, so they can be able to make a 4th game and call it Left 4 Dead.

Nope! Unless Valve can think up some serious innovation for the series, I don't think it needs a third game just yet. Like you said, the second game is very much alive still, so there's really no reason to go divide the community by releasing a third game.

Yes I do, and I have a great idea for it (for the Wii U by the way)... Remember that they had an AI in charge of handling the difficulty, the "AI Director", well let the director be a player, the one with the gamepad, let him play it as a strategy game and the other ones as a FPS (optional off-course), it will take advantage of the special control and it could prove very popular.

I don't want L4D3 or Portal 3... Not before Half Life 3... L4D is fun but not that fun and same goes for Portal... They both have awesome moments but none that are even close to Half Life... If L4D3 comes out, then Half Life 3 will get set back for who knows how long...

Half-Life 3 will get set back regardless of whether Left 4 Dead 3 comes out or not. That's how Valve operates.
