Ok nostalgic discussion time.

I've just been thinking about the Jak games in general and how awesome they were especially 1 and 3. And I remembered how you were required to collect all 100 power cells to open this thing (door I think?) and see the true ending. And so I did (which wasn't easy btw) because then there was no youtube back then and saw it and was remembered how weird it was and never really got what it was about. Unless it was one of those things that was forever meant to be a mystery. What do you guys think about it?

and if they do make a Jak 4 they should bring back power cells as the ultimate nostalgia bomb. :D

The first game was one of the best platformers on the PS2! I loved the game and I did get all of those power cells and saw the true ending.

Sadly the second game sucks, it ditched everything that made the original awesome.

I platinumed the game on both PS3 and Vita plus I've gotten all 101 power cells plenty of times throughut my childhood on the PS2 version. The Jak and Daxter series is one of my favorites of all time with the 2nd one being my favorite of the three.

I think I got 87 or something like that. I really need to go back and get them all one day! :D

Yes, I've done it twice, on PS3 and on the Vita, but never on PS2. Good game even today (the 1st one, the other ones aged very badly).

Jak 1 - Most fun game of the series
Jak 2 - Best History in the game series
Jak 3 - Best gameplay in the series! When they managed to get the gameplay right they left the game! :( that make me fucking angry!

Now I really wish they could make Jak 4 with all the best from the first 3 games... They need to have Jak 3's awesome gameplay improved! Make more cities and maps to explore, make time travel to Jak's Childhood, making some game more platform oriented like Jak 1 (it needs to get fun factor back please!) and make the story just as strong as it was on Jak 2! Bring back the inovation! Every Jak game brought us awesome new and innovative stuff to do, o let's see what they have waiting for us! Having some levels to play as Daxter would be also great

I love all 3 games. The precursor Legacy is easily a timeless classic but 3 also improved on a lot with amazing level designs and the different powers of dark and light eco.

Jak should be King of Spargus in the following game shouldn't he? I remembered hearing Jak talk for the first time lol It surprised me.

Imagine the possibilites of Jak 4 on the ps4.
