Forums - Gaming Discussion - Most Innovative Game Company

(We need a poll function - do we have one?)

OK, the other thread about the most innovative company is not really focused on games, but on businesses as a whole.

What about game companies/divisions?

Who would you vote for the most innovative hardware company, and why?

Not restricted to the "big three"; could be a defunct company as well.

Good reasons only, no flames, no baiting, and please leave your fanboy hat at the door.

I'll start off with something more "neutral". I give my overall nod to Gottlieb. While not strictly a "video game" company, their successful introduction and commercialization of pinball machines got the ball rolling. I still remember my father taking me to arcades and while I was playing Lupin III, Crazy Climber or Moon Cresta, he was racking up the points with his "1337 pinball wizard skillz" (and everyone was looking at him breaking records instead of ME breaking records!).

A father. Back then. Playing the precursor of video games and gaining respect? I still wonder why it is that people say videogames are "for teh kiddiez" when it was cool to be good at pinball.

What about you?
