When this game was announced it was all the rave with Xbox gamer's. For the last month or so I have heard almost Nothing about the game.

What happened ?

Never played the game, but I do remember it getting hyped. I guess it didn't live up to people expectations? Then again.. Titanfall is getting hyped too.. hmm

Well to be honest I wish they'd have just delayed it and release it as a retail game around April. There's only like 6 characters, no story or arcade modes, hardly any modes period. They should've just launched it in April retail with 17+ characters, a full story mode, arcade mode, more multiplayer options, etc. etc.

We still talk about it. I bought the $20 version and it is very deep with the gameplay. Its pretty awesome but the only things missing are more characters and a story mode. Once you learn everything for your favorite characters it can be one of the best and intuitive fighters ever.

I never heard hype for this game anywhere but on GAF in small fighter circles it seems.

How may characters did you get with the $20 pack ?

I wanna say 6 and the first 2 that will be dlc as well makin it 8 in total. But you only start with the 6.

All of Season 1 characters, so 6 to start off, then Spinal and Fulgore in the upcoming months.

8 in total, same for the $40 one except you get all the costumes and the orignal KI.
