I just wanna say if zombiu tanked at over 600 k does that mean perfect dark zero and condemned tanked on 360 cos they were two fps I got the day 360 came out. They sold according to this site 750k and 340k respectively at launch but I remember no one saying they were flops so im confused someone help

So Kotaku is now reporting that they don't see any US Gamestops that are not taking pre-orders and that the Italian Gamestop thing was an error that's been corrected.

Can we now stop the irrational desire to see Watch Dogs on Wii U canceled? That would be good. Thanks.

[UPDATE: 2:30PM: We've contacted GameStop stores in New York and Los Angeles that say that customers can still pre-order Watch Dogs for Wii U, leading to the possibility that the cancellation order our retail source told us about was not applicable nationally. Joystiq reports that the Italian branch of GameStop told them that the de-listing of a Wii U version of the game was an error and that "tomorrow the reservation of Watch Dogs will restart." We've not heard from GameStop U.S. yet, but will let you know if/when we do.

But I wonder why Ubisoft did not want to comment...

Because if they respond to one Internet rumor, they have to respond to them all, which is a pain.

Because it's company policy for damn near every publisher not to comment on rumor and speculation.

If a rumor pops up that says the game will be released tomorrow, they will still say no comment.

Well that was a heck of a roller coaster. Hopefully it's over and we don't see Amazon cancelling preorders or something.

UPDATE 2, 2:58PM:] Good news, everyone! GameStop Italy and our U.S.-based source have both said that this was all a glitch in the system and that Watch Dogs is—or will soon be—available for pre-order for Wii U again in Italy and the U.S. Apologies for making everyone nervous about this and for not getting that all sorted prior to publishing the first time.
