Just how different does the HD remake of the Lionhead classic look compared to the original? VG247′s video editor Sam Clay puts the two side-by-side in this video. 

As Microsoft and Lionhead prepare the release of Fable Anniversary for Xbox 360, VG247 decided to compare the HD remake to footage of the original Xbox role-playing game. Check out the video below, and please excuse the awful soundtrack.

Fable 1 was my favorite fable game. Does anybody know if the maps are more streamlined in this version so that there isnt loading screens every 10 seconds?

Looks good had a hard time watching the whole video due to the corny music. Played through Fable and Fable the Lost Chapters numerous time going to enjoy playing this in a couple of weeks.

I hope they do to but 2 and 3 also had pretty bad frequent load times so I wouldn't get my hopes up to high.

Anyways, the best improvement is probably the HD.

Excited for this remake, It looks much improved in terms of graphics.. but I also hear they have improved the save system which was pretty poor in the original release. The UI also looks better.

Fable was one of my favourite Xbox games and was definitely my favourite in the franchise.

Ahh back when Fable was good. I'll be sure to pick this one up. This will actually be my 3rd time buying the game.

Same here bought Fable and Fable the Lost Chapters on the original X-Box.

Because of the art style, Fable on the original Xbox doesn't look that bad.
