Im not sure it's just nintendo has the weaker console and Sony has the stronger. Its more like nintendo has the weaker and both sony an MS have the stronger. The combination of user base with sony and MS is much grater than just nintendo. In addition developers dont have to deal with a gimmicky second screen( i have a WIIU not trolling).

I think you may have misunderstood, which is perfectly understandable given that the analyst's statements are so muddled. I believe he's talking the initally poor launch of the 3DS and the effect that had with third parties. Not sure what that has to do with Sony, though.

Not really, its nintendo not even knowing wtf HD was until 3 years ago when they actually started developing using HD. They are playing catchup with the whole industry. After the wii motion control made a nice comfy bubble with huge sales, they just got knocked upside the head recently by reality. I still dont know if it was enough to pop that bubble or if bubble boy iwata is going to have to go before that happens. I guess time will tell.

Nintendo needs to take some responsibility and do more than just worry about promoting themselves and no one else if they want to remain viable as a console producer.
