Halo sales ARE poor given the AMOUNT of games that have been released in the franchise.

Yes. Halo held back Bungie. Look at Bungie now. Destiny is far more ambitious than Halo ever was. They aren't confined to what Microsoft WANTS out of Halo. They are the ones directing the game. THAT is why I'm hyped for it. This is the DEFINING Bungie game.

Finally. Halo 5 wasn't well received when it was shown at E3. People were like, "Been there. Done that".

Destiny, Watch Dogs, inFamous: Second Son, Uncharted 4, The Order, DriveClub etc will all be playable in 1080p resolution. ONLY on PlayStation 4 (the greatest console since the PS2).

If you count the mainline entries, they sell far superior to all but 1 PS IP. So again, stop badmouthing your own companys games :P. Even the expansions and spinoffs outsell the average PS exclusive......Halo made Bungie what they are today. Halo Reach > lifetime Killzone IP sales. Just saying.

Again, all this praise for Bungie.......does not concern your camp. They are not owned by Sony. You should not care. Their victories only benefit themselves and not your camp. This is starting to get weird.

Sales and 1080p awaits sure. Games is another story, since MS is actually putting up a nice list in 2014 (compared to 360 in 2006).

 

Once upon a time. There was a company called Bungie. THEY MADE Halo (not the other way round). They left Halo after they realised Microsoft wanted to make it a COD clone. They made DESTINY. They annihiliated Halo and Titanfall. They ruled the FPS genre. They would do so for quite some time.

I fully believe Destiny will outsell Halo 5, and heck will probably outsell any individual Halo title as it is multiplatform. Just letting you know how silly it sounds to claim Halo had poor sales, when that literally means 99.99% of all other franchises ever made have poor sales.

But, we're talking about Halo here. The game which is a best seller. 56 million sales in over 10 games is NOT a good return.

I don't see how this benefits Sony's camp alone when their games will be bought for Xbox gamers and PS gamers alike. This is what I just don't get. Bungies victories belong to Activision and them alone. Destiny is available for multiple consoles so I have no illusions it will sell great compared to Halo selling on one console. But again, this does not concern your camp, nor mine.

Why must you continue to badmouth Sonys exclusives for???? I thought you are a PS fan.

You know Halo 4 outshipped ALL PS3 exclusives of 2012? (I made a thread to prove it). You just said all of Sonys investments and teams that make games are a bigger disapointment then what Halo did last gen.

That....sounds kinda grasping. Instead of acting a normal PS fan and lists exclusives that legitamately set PS4 apart, you use multiplats also available on Xbox with a marginal edge? lol just stop.

So please, tell me you see the difference between a real exclusive and Titanfall praising as an exclusive whereas it's not.

Sales boost for consoles will be bigger on PS4 than XB1 with launch of 3rd party (Destiny by example), the advantages of the prices and specification will be a factor in the choice.
