Meh. The reason I chose xbox 360 over PS3 back then was so I could get the first Dead Rising game. Dead Rising 2 was good too. But I won't be going anywhere near the xbox one, or this game.
Seems as though they've ruined it by making it seem more gritty and what marketing companies view as 'mature'.
Dead Rising found the balance between fun, color, comedy and gore. This just seems a little lacking.

From what I have seen sure you can CHOOSE to play the mature way... But you actually have to work hard to avoid the silliness/awkwardness/fun/joke that is the signature of that game... I played a little of it at a friend and got the terrible demo and it is "plagued" with good DR humor

Ah. Well, I wasn't really doubting the game itself for lacking humor and what not, more the posters and trailor. Just seems like more and more marketing schemes are set with a more gritty theme. Coupled with the fact that when comparing this trailor alone with the first Dead Rising game trailor, I am a little diappointed, and it doesn't apeal to me at all. :P

^^^ agreed but I think this is because they try to appeal to non DR fans... And try to surf on the zombie trend we have had for the past few years... They don't do the game justice for the early fans IMO
