The percentage increase is misleading, it's not the actual increase but instead something that has to do with how many places in the charts it has risen, someone once posted the equation Amazon uses but I don't remember it.

That being said, I'm not surprised by the jump, Amazon.de has been selling the PS4 through 3rd party sellers for 490-530€ for weeks now, no wonder people are jumping on this, also the shipment hasn't arrived yet the site says it'll arrive monday. Another thing that crazy in my mind is this, Amazon.de has sold out of the standard edition of Infamous and is now selling it through a third party as well, Infamous seems to be doing great.

It was 12th before the new shipment... what the site is saying that arrive monday is another new shipment... the first one today get Sold Out fast.

Look at the picture you posted, it says it was 16th before. Also I think the formula was: ((place before the increase/place after the increase)-1)*100, check it out, it works everytime, that can't be a coincidence. ;)

I'm checking two times every day... it was 12nd when the new shipment happened... it could be 16th before that days ago.

But what you say makes sense... it won 15 position in the ranking or 1500%.

I'm just going from what Amazon says right now, I'm not doubting that the PS4 possibly was 12th today, all I wanted to say was that the percentage increase does not mean that the PS4 sales went up 1500%.

So much for that german stock. Amazon itself is sold out again and the last 5 that are available through some third party are being sold for 520€.
