I bought a PS3 the other day (only cost me $177 after trade-IN credit). So, I decided to check out the store. The first thing I noticed is how damn small all of the text is. Why would they lay it out that way? It's not like I have a small TV (42") or poor eyesight (20/20 last I checked), but to read certain things I have to actually lean a lot closer to the TV. It makes me feel really old. Am I losing my vision or is this something that bothers you, too? It just seems like they did all of their testing on an 80" screen. All-in-all, I am happy with my purchase, though I hope they get more content in the store. It,s been over a year, so I expected more. Oh well. Back to UTIII...



My End of 2008 Hardware Predictions (console only):

Wii : 50 million

360: 28 million

PS3: 24 million

I've never had any problem through the texts, maybe because I'm so used to the menu page by now (PSP owner first),

I don't know about anyone else but I find the internet channel on Wii is the same. I have only just got it(yesterday) but I had to squint just to read it. Must update my TV soon(68cm)

I've had no problems with the PS Store, though it's damn near impossible to see the web browser.

This is on a 52 in. from ~8 feet away.

I am using the browser right now. At least you can zoom in on that. The predictive text is a pain in the ass, though. I'm not always going use the same word after I type "THE," so stop moving my cursor over there after EVERY word! O h, and the suggested words are too small, too :)

Am I the only one here who treats his HDTV like a computer monitor?
I usually sit like 2-3 feet away from my 40" .
things are really easy to read

 Yeah, i hate the predictive text. I'm sure you can turn it off somehow, but I'm too lazy to try and figure out how.

Smaller text always takes a while to adjust to. But it can be done, so fear not.
