I hope so but im not convinced it will be huge since most of the games shown last year havent released yet.

Bayonetta 2, X, Yarn Yoshi, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Donkey Kong, SMTxFE were all revealed at some point in 2013 and still arent out yet so if they do decide to do a big direct I expect it to be more details/trailers/release windows for these games and maybe 1-2 new announcements.

I think a ND is coming but not a mammoth one. They could do one this same week, showing more DKC TF, new trailer and release date of Mario Kart 8, release window for Bayonetta 2, release window for X (in Japan) and some kind of surprise, like they are bringing Dragon Quest X to America, or Mario Strikers U on time for the world cup. And some 3DS games as usual.

They really need to localize Dragon Quest X and the VII remake on 3ds already. It would be cool to have an MMO on the Wii U and VII on the 3ds looks amazing.

Your sig is awesome!

OT: I don't expect any new stuff, but probably a lot of details about Bayonetta 2, 'X', Yarn Yoshi and SMT x FE. More details about those games will be enough to please me.

Nintendo and PC gamer

They better have a big one, but Iwata being Iwata I doubt it.

After the negative news surrounding the company another dreary ND with no big new titles will just complete a horrible month. Anyone tuning in after all the recent headline news will probably realize just why the wii u and the company is in the situation it is in.

I do hope I am wrong.

He will probably reaffirm Nintendo's support for the wii u.

Not a single Wii U extinction joke? Nothing about Iwata being frozen inside a block of ice?

I miss badgergnome. I'm gonna pour out a little Gamer Fuel for the homies who ain't with us no more.

Edit:  Oh yeah; on topic, I doubt it.  This doesn't seem to be the right time for that.  I imagine we'll get a really big one closer to the start of spring.

No more money for Nintendo Directs. E3 will now consist of Iwata standing on the median of an L.A. freeway to raise money for his ticket back to Japan.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'd love to think so, but I've learned never to get my hopes up for these things.

If they do, I'm hoping they announce a new Fatal Frame for WiiU, since they own part of the franchise with Tecmo Koei. Partly because I love survival horror games, but more importantly for them, it might move some of the survival-horror PC crowd over

I would sell my freajking soul for Fatal Frame 5 on Wii U. The Gamepad would be perfect as a camera, and Fatal Frame 4 is one of my all time favourite games.

son't get exited remember when they said they were going to make a huge announcement on the vgx's and then it was a failure so yeah don't get exited

My Nintendo Direct senses are tingling, but they aren't giving off major Direct vibes.

Sorry, it's a no.

We need a Ice climber 3DS game, Metroid WiiU game, Star Fox WiiU game, a Mother 3DS game, Pokemon 3rd gen remake for 3DS, a new pokemon IP (maybe the fighting one that was rumored) for WiiU, a new 3D mario game for WiiU, a new Mario game for 3DS, Majora's Mask 3D for 3DS, etc.

Why do people expect a 3D Mario games for Wii U to be announced anytime soon? The most they would say is "We are already planning for the next 3D Mario game for Wii U." or something.
