You mean bites the dust, meaning to die.  Bite the bullet usually means to bear through pain, etc.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

No, maybe he meant bite the bullet as they bear through the financial pain. We'll miss Nintendo's massive success and sly arrogance. :(

Doing things different from the rest of the industry isn't arrogance

Also, at the very least you should rephrase to IF and not WHEN they bite the dust.

Come on. Why the hell do people think nintendo is doomed all the time.. Wow. They have at least 10 billion dollars in cash and no debt. They are not going anywhere.

And you still will enjoy playing Nintendo games for years to come.

I would miss console gaming...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Rumors of Nintendo's death have been greatly exaggerated.

In the 80's Nintendo was doomed because the industry had crashed.
Going into 1990, Nintendo was doomed because PC gaming was thought to take over home consoles.
In the mid-90's, NIntendo was doomed because Playstation had all the 3rd party support.
In the early 2000s, Nintendo was doomed because it still didn't have 3rd party support, was selling less hardware and had more competition.
In the mid 2000s, Nintendo was doomed because the Wii was just too strange.
And now, we're back to saying Nintendo is doomed....

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
