Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What I will miss when Nintendo bites the dust!

Nothing really, just less to look forward to.

The memories will remain a.k.a. little trip down memory lane.

My first experience with nintendo was with mario ofcourse, he made his appearance on a birthday on the NES with super mario bros. 3! Discovering cool secrets like flutes and then totally getting destroyed in the last world.
The next year I got the nintendo 64, yes whatever I got the nes seriously late.
Holy hell, this shit was amazing I still can dream the invitation peach wrote for mario in mario 64!
Racing got real with mario kart and diddy kong racing (thank you rare, I already moarned the death of rare )
And my very first videogame violence with mortal kombat, goldeneye and carmageddon (CARMAGEDDON WII U PLEASE )
First footy with Road to the worldcup 98, futhermore : 1080, banjo kazooie, F1 world grand prix, Glover (fucking brilliant),
mario party and super smash bros, damn even command & conquer and hydro thunder!
Looking backwards i only really missed out on the legend of zelda luckily i made that up later on due to wanting to play more games similair to the wind waker.

Can you imagine I started playing LoZ with the wind waker!
And I almost passed up on it due to having no time because we couldn't stop playing Smash bros melee.
Pikmin, luigi's mansion, kirby's air ride a few medal of honors, another bond game and oh shit metroid prime! Baten Kaitos, actually warmed me up for rpg's in general. Then they unleashed mario kart double dash, the cursing upon first seeing Donkey kong mountain and that darned bridge, in one word EPIC!

never been much of a handheld guy I owned Tetris in combination with the gameboy pocket, also on the handheld pokemon, donkey kong, donkey kong land got a gameboy advance and the advance sp, that thing was slick. Kept buy handhelds for the new iteration of pokemon and while i had a phat ds, why not get mario kart!

I kept the trend up with the wii and when mario kart finally drops for the U you bet i will have it day one.

Nintendo gave me alot of firsts and I hope they will never give me their last!

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

R.I.P Nintendo :(

I didn't realize you had died but I will keep your gaming memories with me.

You can do this thread once they start running out of money and stuff to fall back on, like SEGA did you're a LOT early, even if it was enjoyable to read. (my first game was SMB on a NES 9999 in-1 clone)

The bullet.
Oh... I see you meant, not literally... "Slowly run away".

You will be long dead and reborn multiple times before nintendo even thinks about dieing.

I will miss smash bros... I remember when I got my n64 bundle with Smash Bros, Ram Upgrade and 2 controllers for $150sh but I was so jelly that my friend got the Pokemon Stadium instead that I didn't even play Smash bros for at least a month after I got it cause I kept on visiting my friends house to play Pokemon... But eventually, I sat on my ass and tried out Smash Bros and it was so much fun that I couldn't stop playing it ever since

What I will miss about Nintendo is that with every version of their console, there is something new, usually the controller to look forward to. And the quality of their games is still unmatched that when someone tries to replicate it, they fail to get the soul of the games that make them so great... One day, Miyamoto is gonna retire, One day, Sakurai is gonna retire, and etc and One day, they will be all gone and when that happens, either Nintendo finds someone equally as brilliant or it begins the path to the end

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I will miss handheld gaming first and foremost. :(

3DS Friend Code: 0645 - 5827 - 5788
WayForward Kickstarter is best kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236620800/shantae-half-genie-hero

I would miss most of my gaming library.

You mean bites the dust, meaning to die.  Bite the bullet usually means to bear through pain, etc.

No, maybe he meant bite the bullet as they bear through the financial pain. We'll miss Nintendo's massive success and sly arrogance. :(
