I know asking this here is probably a waste of time, but you guys are like my third family (behind my actual family and co-workers) and with the 400% increase of female users joining recently, there's really nothing to lose.
Anyways, last week, I went to Chick-fil-a, and this cashier started a conversation with me. She asked about my lanyard I was wearing, and after I told her what it was about, she said she was going to check out the band. Then she asked what music I listen to, and we both started talking about music. She shared a story about her playing piano, and I shared that I used to be in a play guitar with my bro back in HS. She thought it was cool. There was a long line behind, so we cut the conversation. After that I felt good about myself. So good that I went clubbing and did my Don Jon impression.
I went back yesterday, but this time, I started the convo. Right then and there, it hit me that I felt something for her. I was incredibly nervous talking to her and was lost in thought. We started talking about music again, and while she making my sundae, she keep dropping the cups but smiling throughout the whole time. She also remembered my name despite only giving it to her once which was last week. At Chick-Fil-A, you have to give your name, and they'll call you when your order was ready. However, I never gave my name that time, and didn't pay attention to it until I was back in the office. She called the guy yelling my name that I was over here with her.
I went with my co-worker, and she was watching me talking to her (that perv). She told me that her body language read she was interested, but like I said, I was lost in thought and kept looking at her eyes. So what's your verdict? I'm still going to ask her out regardless since she's all I think about. This feeling that I'm feeling is something I never felt before, and I have been listening to Dashboard Confessional a lot lately.
