Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sony has bigger shares than Nintendo

Just so sad... Sony may be great in gaming but their other divisions stand bearly any chance against Samsungs branding

You know that the same thing was being said against anyone going up against Sony / Apple / Microsoft / Nokia / Whatever. Brands come to power and then go down eventually.
Nobody could touch Nintendo's sales during Wii era...here we are today.
Nobody could touch Nokia's sales during the hay day...here we are today.

Etc etc etc. Until I see a company going down for good...aka complete disintegration, I don't believe in the thing with "it doesn't stand a chance". History has proven such thinking to be wrong one too many times.

Sony as a whole being bigger than a gaming company? Color me impressed

Again why do people think stock price equals a companies wealth?

LG life's good Sony life's sad PS: Nintendo fan.

Yeah...I was going to say by this logic Berkshire Hathaway dwarfs the Apples and Microsofts and Exon Mobils of the world costing $172,774 per share. Proof below for those unfamiliar with the stock.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
NYSE: BRK.A - Jan 17 11:13 AM ET
172,774.00

Ok, but how big is just PS... That's what I'd like to know.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
