You REALLY want the last deticated gaming company to go under, and for the entire games industry to be run by the non-gaming soulless corporate machines known as Sony and MS? Sony and MS (and their third party lapdogs) running things by themselves would kill gaming. MS and Sony care nothing about gamers, they only care about getting a foothold in the games industry to expand their influence and increase revenues. Just look at how MS completely sold out gamers with all the DRM shit initially with the Xbone, before a huge backlash from the gamer community scared them into changing. Look at how Sony thought everyone would run out and spend $599USD on a freakin Playstation 3..

I want nintendo to remain first party. But I dont want to spend my cash for a console that only plays mario and zelda games. But nintendo keeps making the same mistake. Nintendo is better than those non-gaming centric companies. But this doesnt justify their wrong decisions.

Sigh. Let's continue to attack Sony for things they did 8 years ago. May as well attack Nintendo for their awful treatment of 3rd parties during the NES and SNES era. It's clear Sony (unlike your dear Nintendo) has actually listened to gamers this time around and delivered a system they want to play. I wonder why dear Nintendo launch the 3DS at $250 even though it cost way less to make that? I wonder why they're forcing a subscription service to use Pokemon Bank? I wonder why they keep game prices many years after they launch? I guess they just love gamers too much.

Did you ever thnk that maybe the games stay at that price because they are WORTH it? Obvioulsy people keep buying them, otherwise they would drop the prices.. If the games were NOT good enough to sell well, the prices would fall. Simple supply and demand.

Nintendo's games are generally on a completely different level of quality than most others, which is why the prices stay high. Prices reflect true value.


Prices reflect true value.... Leaving aside all that c**p about Nintendo's games being on a different level and stuff, you are the worst kind of consumer that i've ever seen. Seriously, to think that someone indulge this kind of practice is unbelievable.

You know there ARE other games than Mario and Zelda.

I'm not going to name them all, but I've probably played and enjoyed at least a few dozen games on Wii not named Mario or Zelda, many of which were third party, and most were exclusives.

Wii U already has Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends, Lego City Stories, Zombi U, Wonderful 101, Resident Evil: Revelations, Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition, Nintendoland, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Scriblenauts, AC3 and 4, etc.. Granted they're not all outstanding, but most are sold a budget prices now anyway.

The games are there, you just gotta look for em. Just because most of them don't come with the overblown hype that comes with most of the PS360 and Ps4Bone "blockbusters", doesn't mean they are bad.

i got Gunman Clive...so yeah? I still need to get Zelda and that Bravely Default looks cool but im strapped for cash. i wont get WIi U till Zelda since nothing their really makes me want to get it except that game

Yeah and dont forget our savior and angel nintendo selling us the 3ds for only $250 and the wii u for $350. Yeah nintendo can do no wrong, they dont care about money only the gamers and what they want. They always give us what we want star fox, fzero...oh wait.
