This could have helped Wii U sales last year. Easily a million seller.

"We expect that we will post ordinary income despite the operating loss situation. This is because we now assume that the yen will be weaker than our original assumptions at the beginning of the fiscal year"

"On the other hand, we expect to post a net loss despite expecting ordinary income mainly because we need to reverse deferred tax assets"

Things are not as dire as people seems to be thinking.
But let's hope this can be a wake up call for them. If they want to carrie a console only with first party, it is fine, but they have to give us the games.

There should be a Nintendo logo on the right side of the box face. Otherwise googly moogly. I'd be in, but I want an alliance with Sony, not Nintend grovelling around like a regular 3rd party. Someone make a Nintendo Vita, lol.

Just being quiet you can help a lot

If everyone that ever played(and finished) a nitnendo published/made/licensed game using emulator prior to actual hardware decided to pay for what they played, nitnendo would never need sell any consle ever again to be profitable.

Anyway, i'm making a space shooter game trough unity and aiming to release it on wiiu eshop, but since i not a a well know developer, i will need to get some traction first in android or anothers games stores. Once i managed to get fame to be well recivied on wiiu, i will make all my games wiiu exclusives.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Donate money to Nintendo ?
Nintendo is the only developer that games cost the same 5 years after they are released.
A copy of Mario Kart is the same price as it was when it was 1st released.
Most other developers lower their game cost at a reasonable time frame.
All I care, Nintendo can go under tomorrow. They have been robbing gamer's for years now anyway.

...been hoping for Nintendo as a third party since sometime during the N64 days. If only it wasn't for the GBA's resilience, and the anomaly that is the Wii.

Why any TRUE gamer would want Nintendo third party is completely beyond me..

You REALLY want the last deticated gaming company to go under, and for the entire games industry to be run by the non-gaming soulless corporate machines known as Sony and MS? Sony and MS (and their third party lapdogs) running things by themselves would kill gaming. MS and Sony care nothing about gamers, they only care about getting a foothold in the games industry to expand their influence and increase revenues. Just look at how MS completely sold out gamers with all the DRM shit initially with the Xbone, before a huge backlash from the gamer community scared them into changing. Look at how Sony thought everyone would run out and spend $599USD on a freakin Playstation 3..

Nintendo has never given gamers a break with reducing their game prices over the years, to their published games
So Why would I donate to them again?

Did you ever thnk that maybe the games stay at that price because they are WORTH it? Obvioulsy people keep buying them, otherwise they would drop the prices.. If the games were NOT good enough to sell well, the prices would fall. Simple supply and demand.

Nintendo's games are generally on a completely different level of quality than most others, which is why the prices stay high. Prices reflect true value.

LOL, Nintendo charity
