So the 3rd fastest selling console of all time needs saving?

Uh..right.

If "saving" = beating PS4

Then in Americas a price cut ought to do it.

3rd fastest selling sounds good.

Except when you look at the previous console launches of the last 15 years.

Each one of them launched and had severe supply issues for the whole 1st year.  The sheer fact that the XB1 is available at almost any retailer is a siginificant problem.  Either the system blew through most of the demand that it had that it would previously would have taken 3 months to sell through or Microsfot way over estimated the rate of sell through.

Somebody screwed up either way.

It is near the end of the end....

Sales are fine, but they'll be even stronger after price cuts.

Consoles generally sell better after price cuts.

They just didn't launch it in enough territories that is the only screw up, so far its well ahead of the 360 even though most of its heavy hitters haven't been released yet.

No need saving, but acceptance of second place would be recommended.

It launched to double what 360 pulled in.....

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Some of you people would make an entertaining CEO.

I agree with you about number 4 and what to do about it.
