Candy Crush is pure evil. I'm not sure how many hours I've lost there, but I can never get them back :(.

Not in revenue, and particularly not in sustained revenue over a whole generation. It won't be around in 2-3 years and there's no guarantee their next game will even make it to the iTunes frontpage, never mind be a success.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
There is no game series I despise more than Candy Crush Saga... I'm constantly redirected to it on my iPhone at least twice a day. e.e
How many users play Candy Crush Saga doesn't represent "sales" of anything. Everyone I know who plays it, plays it for free. Comparing how many people are playing a free to play puzzle game to how many gamers buy an actual in-depth adventure game is about as meaningful as claiming ALL iphone sales are also handheld gaming console sales.

I don't trust those numbers because they are unofficial estimates.
Even if they are true, 4m for one game roughly the same as a single Uncharted or Zelda, and is not a franchise because it's only one game and future games will not see that success.

Again, I do not believe it's true.
I tried searching for a statement from the company itself or Apple and there doesn't appear to be one. I'm sure they're happy for such rumours to circle.
