Bad games.
The rise of indies will force triple A to step up their game too.
Well Nintendo obviously lost the most marketshare, MS is currently losing the US war to Sony, and Sony still has the Vita disaster.
All in all, I'd say Nintendo is the biggest loser this gen.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Lol yeah I did not read the last sentence and was thinking it was only about the big 3. My bad.

Not gonna happen. Indie games are nowhere near as popular as AAA games, and they probably never will.
OT:
Consoles: Nintendo
Handhelds: Sony
Games: 3rd parties
Nintendo and PC gamer

I don't know why but I get the feeling that something is going to give in the 8th gen. It might not be a dreamcast situation but somebody is going down, at least that's the feeling I get.

Unfortunately, third parties.
Year after year game development has been becoming more expensive while the market is not growing at the same rate.
We started to see the results last gen with many studios closing their doors and this gen things may get even worse if they did not decide to limit the budget of their games.
Are we talking the practicality of actual company profits, or merely the e-penis fanboy thing of their console of choice selling the most units?
I won't be so dead set on the fate of the Wii U, there is still some nice soft yet to come.
