I know they are Legend of Zelda mangas. Never read them but the look good.
Also I heard that the pokémon manga was better than the anime.

But what I meant in the poll was just like reading these sorts of things in general, it's just most people refer to them as comics regardless of if they're comics or manga or whatever, so yeah... according to the masses, they're the same thing ;) Anyways shush, and give me some recommendations! I'll admit, I WOULD read manga, but I don't like how you read them back to front. |
The size of the book really depends on what you're reading. Most manga are serialized in monthly or weekly magazines, so when you purchase physical copies of specific manga, you're likely buying it in a volume, which is a collection of several chapters. It really varies based on the manga.
They're usually in black and white too, but that also depends on the manga. Sometimes serialized manga will start chapter with a few color pages as a bit of fanservice.
Reading right to left is something you just get used to though. Once you start, it feels pretty natural. Though it's a bit annoying if you read both Western comics and manga. I find myself reading the wrong way sometimes XD.
Anyways, I don't have too many recs for video-game based manga, and none for comic books. The only one I can actually recommend would be the Monster Hunter Orage manga. It's written by Hiro Mashima, author of Fairy Tail and Rave Master. He's probably my favorite manga author at the moment, so I really enjoyed that. I've also heard good things about the Zelda manga, but I've only read the special chapter at the end of Hyrule Historia. I'd definitely recommend that though, if you care at all for the series' background. Warning though, it's just a one-shot. ;p Link: http://www.mangapark.com/manga/zelda-no-densetsu-skyward-sword/c0/1

Yea but according to the masses, Cod is the best fps in the world... Okay, I will stop lol
Have you read the watchmen comics? Probably the best western comics out there

Well if i had to exclude Marvel and DC, then i'd have to highly recomment The Walking Dead. It's amazing, way better than the TV show and different as well, so you can't guess everything if you've seen every episode of the TV show thus far!!!
I recently started reading one called Saga, which is pretty damn great so far. Generally I tend to read manga a bit more, so if you're willing to give it a try, stuff like One Piece, Toriko, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind are all quite good (especially the last one).
Hmm
how about reading a fiction novel? anything by haruki murakami is fantastic...
i recommend
